DVB-T programs and frequencies in European Countries

Hi there,

I am looking for something like program and associated frequency tables for DVB-T broadcasting in european countries individually. I've tried the web sites of DVB and ETSI but they don't seem to have what I want. Currently I have the one for UK only. Could anybody tell me where I might be able to get it? Thanks a lot.

Re: DVB-T programs and frequencies in European Countries

Appreciate it. I have collected most of the modulation parameters from DVB.org, but just could not find the channel allocated frequencies. My understanding is, the channel frequncies adopted in Europe differ one country from another...

You could download/install a copy of ShowShifter (http://www.showshifter.com/) - it has a whole directory full of configuration (channel.INI style) files in ASCII format. This is how I found out that Multiplex B here in the North of England isn't on a standard (center) frequency! I remember seeing European countries being included but couldn't swear they all were!

Re: DVB-T programs and frequencies in European Countries

Many thanks!!!

I was surprised to know that North of England is not following the standard channel allocation. Wonder why they are doing this, which could introduce some compability issue...

Re: DVB-T programs and frequencies in European Countries

There is a 167KHz (166.666KHz) offset in UK and 125KHz offset in Australia.

UK:
http://www.ofcom.org.uk/static/receptio … de_2-8.pdf
Offset : '0' means "No offset", '-' means "minus 167KHz", '+' means "plus 167KHz"
http://www.ofcom.org.uk/static/receptio … w_all.html

Australia:
http://www.dba.org.au/index.asp?sectionID=22
For example:
The frequency of Sydney Channel 9 ( VHF 8 ) is 191.625 MHz = 191.5MHz + 125KHz

Re: DVB-T programs and frequencies in European Countries

Some DVB-T Demod. chip can auto-tune within 167KHz offset.

For example,
The cx22702 demodulator was designed to have a wide
( ~ 300KHz) acquistion range.

Re: DVB-T programs and frequencies in European Countries

Highly appreciate it! Since you mention about Connexant's demodulator, do you happen to know its mobile reception capability without diversity mode?
