If you install the latest ArcSoft TotalMedia or Leadtek WinFast PVR2,
The "ArcSoft Connect" is running on the background even you uninstall the ArcSoft TotalMedia or/and Leadtek WinFast PVR2.
You can delete (uninstall) the "ArcSoft Connect" by following steps :
1. Goto "Device Manager" -> "Services and Applications" -> "Service" :
Stop "ArcSoft Connect Daemon" Service
and then Disable it.
2. Use Task Manager to kill ACDaemon.exe
3. Delete the
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\ArcSoft\Connect Service" folder.
4. Restart Windows
The ArcSoft Encoders maybe not work if the "ArcSoft Connect" is deleted.
It means that the WinFast PVR2's analog TV recording and timeshifting maybe not work if the "ArcSoft Connect" is deleted.

You can not just delete executable since it is service, unless you want to have mess in your registry. Instead of, type "sc delete ACDaemon" in command line without quotes, it will delete service correctly. Then you can remove files.
